Expert take — Cost of Asia editorial team In Da Nang, a coworking space's backup line protects you from a local outage, but not from Vietnam's undersea cable faults: in August 2026, faults on three cables cut about 30% of the country's international capacity. If your work depends on calls with Europe or the Americas, test a video call to your home region at peak hour before you pay for a month. Keep a mobile data plan as a third option.

Da Nang's coworking spaces fall into two clusters. Most sit near the beach, around My An, An Thuong and Phuoc My. A smaller business group is across the Han River in the city center. Day passes mostly cost VND 110,000–320,000, but hours vary more than you might expect. Several spaces close in the early evening or on Sundays.

The main trade-off is beach lifestyle versus business access. Beach-side spaces suit long-stay remote workers, while the city-center towers suit anyone meeting local clients.

Note: Vietnam reorganized its administrative units in 2025, and many official district and ward names changed. We use the names people still search, such as Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son and Hai Chau.

Our main source is VietnamSpot's 2026 survey of 11 spaces, with prices checked on 7 August 2026. We could not run speed tests. Checked on 1 November 2026.

1. Seaview Coworking — best for 24/7 access for everyone

Seaview is at 32 Ha Chuong in Phuoc My, by My Khe beach. VietnamSpot found it was the only space open 24/7 to everyone, not just members. It lists three independent internet lines. Day passes cost VND 135,000 and a month VND 2,000,000. That makes it the obvious pick if you work night shifts for US clients without a monthly plan.

2. HIVE Studio / HIVE Focus — best for premium focus near My An

HIVE is at 48 An Thuong 5, in the An Thuong area popular with long-stay foreigners. It is open from 7:30 to midnight. There are two tiers: HIVE Studio at VND 240,000 a day or VND 4,500,000 a month, and HIVE Focus at VND 320,000 a day or VND 6,000,000 a month. These are the highest rates in the survey, so try a day before committing.

3. Coworking Danang — best for a quieter beach-side base

Coworking Danang is at 28 Tran Van Thanh in Khue My, south of the busiest An Thuong streets. It charges VND 200,000 a day and VND 3,000,000 a month. It is open weekdays from 8:00 to 21:00 with shorter weekend hours, and weekly and monthly members get 24/7 access.

5. Hana's Coworking — best budget with backup

Hana's, at 69 Bui Ta Han in Khue My, charges VND 130,000 a day and VND 2,000,000 a month. It opens from 6:00 to 22:00 and lists a backup line. That makes it one of the cheapest spaces in the survey with published backup.

What to check before you decide

  • Run an international speed test, at peak hour, to a server in your home region.
  • Ask who supplies the backup line and whether it switches over automatically.
  • Confirm Sunday and evening hours; several spaces close by 18:00–20:00.
  • Check 24/7 eligibility: many spaces limit it to monthly members or housing tenants.
