Expert take — Cost of Asia editorial team In Hanoi, your phone may be faster than the coworking Wi-Fi: Ookla's August 2026 index put the city's median mobile download at about 493 Mbps (5th in the world), against about 252 Mbps for fixed broadband (30th). A 5G hotspot is a real backup when a space's line drops during a client call. Before you pay for a month, ask whether the space has a second internet line, and check your 5G signal at the desk you'll use.

Hanoi's coworking is spread across the city rather than packed into one district. Toong has several sites, Spaces and Regus run serviced centers, and local spaces such as COGO sell cheap desks. Choose by where you live: a cross-town ride at rush hour wipes out any savings.

The trade-off is price versus polish. Local spaces cost a fraction of the international centers but publish fewer details.

Note: Vietnam merged and renamed many wards in its 2025 administrative reform. We use the district names people still search (Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Cau Giay), and give new ward names where an operator does.

1. Toong — best for choice of locations

Toong is a Vietnamese operator founded in August 2015. Its registered address is 8 Trang Thi in Hoan Kiem, near the lake, and it also runs sites at 5 Dien Bien Phu (Ba Dinh), in Building 25T2 on Hoang Dao Thuy (Cau Giay), and in the Diplomatic Corps area (Ngoai Giao Doan) of Bac Tu Liem, where the listing mentions a pool and yoga studio.

On Office Hub, a one-person desk at Hoang Dao Thuy was listed at ₫1,425,000 a month (discounted from ₫1,900,000), and a two-person space at Dien Bien Phu at ₫2,850,000, with 24/7 access listed. Listing prices change, so ask Toong for its current rate at the branch you want.

2. Spaces 103 Au Co — best for Tay Ho residents

Spaces has a center at 103 Au Co Street, in the new Tay Ho ward. Spaces offers meeting rooms and shared lounges, and gives 24/7 access to private office and dedicated desk customers. It publishes no prices for this center, so ask for a written quote.

3. UP / UPGen — best for round-the-clock work

UP (some sites now branded UPGen) is a Vietnamese operator founded by Do Hoai Nam. UP Luong Yen is on the 8th floor of Hanoi Creative City, 1 Luong Yen (Hai Ba Trung). Maison Office listed it from ₫3,000,000 per seat a month (page updated March 2026). UPGen also runs a site in the VIT Building at 519 Kim Ma (Ba Dinh), and one in Building A17 at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, which a directory lists with 24/7 access.

A 2024 review of Kim Ma reported 24/7 access and a one-month minimum, with no day passes; confirm both.

4. Regus — best for client meetings and a business address

Regus runs centers in central towers including Sentinel Place (41A Ly Thai To), Hanoi Tower (49 Hai Ba Trung), Belvedere Building (28A Tran Hung Dao) and Daeha Business Centre (360 Kim Ma). Its Hanoi page lists day coworking from VND 390,000, and an all-access plan from VND 173,000 per person per day. The access-plan rate assumes a 24-month contract.

You pay more, but get reception, a business address and client-ready meeting rooms.

5. COGO Coworking — best for the lowest price

COGO is at 1 Thai Ha, Dong Da. In a 2024 review, Goats On The Road reported a $4 day pass, hot desks from $80 a month and 24/7 opening, with a nap room and free tea and coffee. A current directory also lists 24/7 building access. Those prices date from 2024, so check them.

What to check before you decide

  • Run a speed test at peak hour, including upload, and ask whether there's a backup line.
  • Check your 5G signal at the desk in case you need a hotspot.
  • Get the hours in writing. At many spaces, 24/7 access is limited to monthly or private-office members.
  • Ask for the price at your branch. Chains charge different rates by site.
